Perfect spot to stop on the way to the beach. I had the banana bread latte and was happily surprised to see they had musubi. Both were absolutely delicious. I would not be mad about taking my laundry here - looks like they had a nice set up to work while you have your coffee and take care of a few loads. Highly recommend!

Didn’t get a picture of the cups full, because it was SO good!! By far the best coffee in the area! What sets them apart from many of the coffee shops is the amount of love they have for the craft. All of their syrups are made in-house, which is a HUGE advantage. You can still taste the richness and depth of the beans without the syrups compromising the flavor. I ordered their Signature Neighbor’s Choice and Creamy Cold Brew. The Neighbor’s Choice foam top was sweet and creamy with a follow up of a tasty toast flavor. The creamy cold brew was perfect. I usually don’t like black coffee, but I can actually taste the flavorful notes. I’d definitely get these again! The cafe is next to a laundry mat with a corridor connecting both of them. So, if you got laundry to do you got a great place to chill at. It’s right on the other side of the boardwalk so it’s very convenient to walk to after getting some steps in. Min and the staff were so friendly and warm. They made my husband and I feel so welcomed when we walked in. They took the time to answer our questions, and went above and beyond. Next we’re going to try their recommendations and we’re looking forward to it.

As a south Hermosa resident, I am thrilled to have such a beautiful new addition to our neighborhood! The whole team at good Neighbor has really gone above in the beyond to not just create fabulous café menu, but also a truly warm and welcoming opportunity for our community to gather in an intimate way. I personally am a major fan of the cabana latte, however, every other beverage on the menu that I’ve tried has always been a 10 out of 10. Anyone local knows how difficult it is to get good coffee on the south side of Hermosa, but also west of PCH, I truly believe this is exactly what we all needed.

An absolutely amazing space. Today was founders day, a community event with a soft introduction. The coffee was phenomenal, a truly rich flavorful bean choice by Canyon Coffee. The staff was friendly, helpful and joyous. Everyone was just a thrill. This is a community space worth visiting and the laundromat next door is an extra gift for the neighborhood. This is what it feels like to be a good neighbor. Sidenote— the Honey I'm Green Matcha was so bomb.
